Our mission is to provide the best care in the world for people with multiple sclerosis. By transforming denial into awareness, anger into determination, and despair into hope, we help them take back their lives. #multiplesclerosis Multiple sclerosis is a chronic condition which will affect patients in many ways throughout every phase of their lives. Additionally, MS is quite variable between individuals and throughout the course of a particular patient's disease. Our goal of comprehensive MS care at the Center includes addressing all of these concerns. To that end, our physicians make an individual assessment of goals based on each patient's ability and lifestyle. Our Center was designed to care for people with MS by offering services in every discipline they could possibly utilize, under one roof. In addition, the IMSMP is the only clinical practice located steps down the hall from the largest MS research laboratory dedicated to finding the cause of and cure for multiple sclerosis, the Tisch MS Research Center of New York (Tisch MSRCNY). The seamless interaction between doctors and scientists at this state-of-the-art research facility is found no where else in the world. At the IMSMP, our MS specialists have the rare opportunity to bring bench research from the Tisch MS Research Center of New York to the bedside of patients at our clinical practice. We perform patient-based research that translates in to the lives of those we treat and care for every day.
