Lucia Montanarella

Lucia Montanarella is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media operations and press management within the Olympic framework. Since June 2010, Lucia has served the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the Associate Director of Olympic Games Media Operations and Editor-in-Chief of the Olympic Information Service (OIS), overseeing editorial planning and logistics for major sporting events. Previously, Lucia held roles such as Head of Language Services and Press Chief for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Director of Press Operations for the Vancouver 2010 Games. Additional noteworthy contributions include consulting for media operations during various Olympic bidding processes and serving as a mentor in the IOC Young Reporters Programme.
