Matthieu Amsellem

Matthieu Amsellem is the Head of Planning, Performance and Vendor Management at the International Olympic Committee. Matthieu has over 20 years of experience in project management and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world.

Matthieu started their career at Accenture in 1998 as a project manager. Matthieu worked on a variety of projects, including the development of a long-term mobility strategy that led to cost reductions of 23.6 million euros over six years. In 2008, they were promoted to Head of PMO, Lead of Program Processes, Budget & Strategic Planning. In this role, they successfully deployed budget management and project tools to AREVA IS Department.

In 2009, Matthieu was recruited by AREVA NP to head up their PMO department. Matthieu successfully completed a number of large projects, including the development of a new budget management system and the deployment of a new project management tool.

In 2011, Matthieu left AREVA NP to join the International Olympic Committee as Head of Planning, Performance and Vendor Management. In this role, they are responsible for the planning, performance and vendor management of the Olympic Games.

After completing their high school diploma in mathematics from Lycee Debussy, Matthieu Amsellem pursued a career in telecommunications, earning an engineer diploma from ISEP. Matthieu then transitioned into business administration and management, earning a degree from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne. In addition to their formal education, Matthieu Amsellem holds a certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).

Matthieu Amsellem reports to Lana Haddad, Chief Operating Officer. They work with Jessica Baldwin - Head of Youth Olympic Games Operations, Lorenzo Graziani - Head of Game Services, and Suzanne Brodeur - Head of Games Planning and Coordination.
