Ali Ibrahim

Ali Ibrahim has over a decade of experience in conflict prevention and community resilience initiatives with IOM - UN Migration, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Party for The Coastal States Stability Mechanism (CSSM) in Ghana-Togo-Benin. This role focuses on enhancing state-community relations to combat violent extremism. Prior positions include Head of Sub-Office in Mozambique, managing operations to implement strategic governance, and Programme Manager for the Community Resilience and Peacebuilding programme, addressing conflict-related migration. Additional experience includes leading stabilization initiatives in Somalia and directing programs for NGOs such as International Medical Corps and Merlin. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University.
