Fiorella Vargas

Fiorella Vargas currently serves as a Regional Programme Officer at the International Organization for Migration, focusing on Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion, a position held since February 2020. Prior roles at IOM include Project Assistant and internships within the Programme Support and Community Stabilization Units. Fiorella gained additional experience as a stagiaire at the Costa Rican Delegation to the OECD and the Costa Rican Embassy in France. Previous internships include work in communication/media at the World Forum for a Responsible Economy and political advocacy at Fundación Paniamor. Fiorella's educational background includes a Bordeaux International Relations Degree from Sciences Po Bordeaux, an exchange semester at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and a European Bachelor in Political Science from the European School of Political and Social Sciences. Additional studies include an exchange semester in political science at Università di Siena and a distinguished Economic and Social Baccalaureate from Liceo Franco Costarricense.
