Ghada Barakat

Ghada Barakat is an experienced professional in architectural engineering and humanitarian support, currently serving as the Shelter Programme Coordinator at IOM - UN Migration since January 2018. Previous roles include Rapid Response Mechanism Officer and involvement in shelter and cash-based interventions. Prior to this, Ghada worked with UNHCR as a Site Planner and held the position of Site Planner Associate at Ammar Nabulsi Office of Architecture. Early experience includes a trainee role at the Amman Institute for Urban Development, contributing to the Downtown Amman rehabilitation project. Ghada holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan, earned in 2010.
