Mukhtar Qowdan

Mukhtar Qowdan is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Finance Associate at IOM - UN Migration since November 2024. Previously, Mukhtar held the position of Country Finance Officer at the Norwegian Red Cross from September 2022 to November 2024 and worked as a Roving Finance Officer for the Danish Refugee Council from February 2019 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Finance Officer at Save the Children International in 2017 and as an Officer for Settlements and Corporate Events at RBC Investor & Treasury Services from January 2015 to July 2016. Mukhtar's leadership skills were demonstrated as President of the Debate Society at Albukhary International University from September 2012 to September 2013. Mukhtar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Staffordshire, completing studies between 2010 and 2014, and also completed Foundation Studies at Albukhary International University in 2010.
