Niven Muneesamy

Niven Muneesamy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in programme and policy development, business consultancy, and education. Currently serving as the National Programme & Policy Officer at IOM - UN Migration since November 2020, Niven also operates as a self-employed consultant, specializing in strategic planning, project design, and business counselling since January 2015. Previous roles include Project Manager at The Travel Foundation, Non-Executive Trustee at the Southern Africa Trust, and Director of the Tourism Authority, where significant contributions were made to the tourism sector in Mauritius. Academic involvement includes part-time lecturing in strategic management and human resource management at various tertiary institutions.
