Troy Dooley

Troy Dooley is an experienced professional in migration management, currently serving as Chief of Mission for IOM Azerbaijan since May 2011. Throughout a distinguished career with the International Organization for Migration, Troy has held various significant positions, including Head of Programmes and Emergency Coordinator in the Philippines. Expertise includes developing programs to assist vulnerable migrants, refugees, and victims of trafficking, as well as managing labor migration and addressing climate change impacts. Additionally, Troy has contributed to capacity building in Papua New Guinea and facilitated the reintegration of communities affected by disasters, notably post-Cyclone Pam in 2015. Before IOM, Troy worked as a Migration Specialist at International Health and Medical Services. Troy holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from The University of Queensland.
