Alex Young

Alex Young serves as the Planning & Strategy Officer and a Founding Member of the Secretariat at the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) since August 2022, contributing to actionable scientific knowledge on information landscape threats. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Programs & Operational Excellence at PeaceTech Lab, Political Analyst at the National Counterterrorism Center, and Executive Assistant at Relief International. Additional positions were held at various organizations focusing on security sector reform, sustainable security, and public safety interventions. Alex Young holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from American University and participated in several study abroad programs, enhancing engagement with diverse cultural and educational perspectives.
