Amy Beeson

Amy Beeson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, securities compliance, and executive compensation. Currently serving as Chief Counsel for Global Corporate Governance at International Paper since July 2020, Amy previously held the role of Senior Counsel for Securities Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation. Prior experience includes an attorney position at Axiom and serving as Senior Counsel at Medical Properties Trust. From July 1995 to April 2016, Amy worked as a Senior Attorney and Assistant Secretary at Vulcan Materials Company, focusing on SEC compliance and corporate governance. Early in Amy's career, an associate position at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP involved significant work on mergers and acquisitions that garnered national recognition. Amy holds a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and a BS in Business Administration and Management from Wake Forest University.
