Sara Whitaker

Sara Whitaker has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Senior Communications Manager for Global Cellulose Fibers at International Paper since April 2008. In this role, Sara provides strategic communications support across two manufacturing facilities, engaging over 1,400 employees through targeted initiatives. Previous positions at International Paper include Communications Manager and Communications Specialist, where contributions improved fundraising efforts and community relations. Prior to International Paper, Sara worked as Development Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis, specializing in event planning and public relations. Early career experience includes serving as Public Relations Manager for Mountain Valley Spring Company. Sara earned a BBA in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and attended the University of Arkansas.
