Chris Gainer has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Chris is currently working as the Director of Claims at International Programs Group since 2019. Before this, they held various positions at different companies. From 2003 to 2019, they worked at CMI/Nixon & Company as the Director - Liability Claims, where their responsibilities included maintaining pending claim files, building relationships with key clients, and managing a team of Account Managers. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Manager at Countrywide Services Corp from 1997 to 2003, where they managed nationwide claims administration and investigation accounts for major product manufacturers and self-insured programs. Chris also worked at Gallagher Bassett as a Claims Supervisor and Senior Claim Representative, managing complex commercial coverage claims. Chris began their career at Martin Boyer Co as an Account Manager/Liability Adjuster, managing public entity liability claims programs. Chris started their insurance career at National General Insurance as a Senior Claim Representative, handling severe and complex losses and heavy litigation cases. Chris also worked as an Office Claim Adjuster at Worldwide Insurance/Wausau Insurance, where they were promoted after completing trainee positions. Throughout their career, Chris has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a dedication to providing excellent service to clients.
Chris Gainer attended the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
