Joe McKeown

Joe McKeown has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Joe started their career in 2001 as a Fleet Manager at V.SHIPS UK LIMITED, where they worked until 2006. Following that, they joined Celtic Pacific UK Ltd as a Technical Director for a brief period before moving to V Ships USA LLC in 2007. At V Ships USA LLC, Joe held the positions of Technical Director and later became the Operations Director. In 2017, they joined International Registries, Inc. as the Vice-President of Technical & Marine Safety. Joe recently transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President, Management Systems Certification in 2021. Overall, Joe McKeown's work experience demonstrates their leadership and technical expertise in the maritime industry.

Joe McKeown attended North East Scotland College from 1976 to 1978, where they obtained an OND in Marine Engineering. Subsequently, from 1978 to 1980, they pursued further education at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, earning a Class 1 Motor degree in Marine Engineering.
