Rocio Martinez

Rocio Martinez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and international development, currently serving as Senior Program Manager at the International Republican Institute since November 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing multi-million dollar USAID and State Department-funded projects in a closed-society country. Previously, Rocio held various positions at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems from 2010 to 2018, progressively advancing from Program Officer to LAC Senior Program Officer, while managing administrative and procurement processes and providing technical support across multiple Latin American projects. Rocio's background also includes project development and monitoring roles at the Spanish Red Cross and the Organization of American States, as well as internships focused on legislative support and international cooperation. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with diplomas in international cooperation and sustainable development.
