Rahul Dutta has extensive experience in wildlife trade and crime, currently serving as a Consultant for IRF since March 2010, focusing on monitoring illegal wildlife activities in Northeast India. Prior to this role, Dutta worked at the World Wide Fund for Nature from November 2004 to February 2010 as Coordinator for TRAFFIC India, where responsibilities included reestablishing TRAFFIC's presence in India and enhancing capacity building for enforcement agencies. Dutta also held positions at the PEACE Institute and previously at the World Wide Fund for Nature, specializing in information management and wildlife crime databases. Dutta holds a Master's degree in Wildlife Trade from Universidad Internacional de Andalucía and completed foundational education at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
