Isaac Nshimirimana

Isaac NSHIMIRIMANA is a seasoned agronomist specializing in rice research and agricultural development. Currently serving as a Research Agronomist at the International Rice Research Institute since April 2019, Isaac manages projects financed by the World Bank and African Development Bank focused on enhancing rice production and farmer capacity. Previous roles include Regional Agronomist at NASECO Seeds, promoting hybrid maize varieties, and Agronomist with SOPRAD-CARITAS RUYIGI, providing extensive support for agricultural and forestry producer management. Isaac also held a position as an Agricultural Facilitator with the Council for Integrated Development, facilitating connections for producers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Community Based Development from the Institut Supérieur Privé de Technologies in Burkina Faso and an Agricultural Professional Technician degree from the Agricultural Technical Institute of Burundi.
