Finance Manager at International Rugby League

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Mark spent over 20 years in the private sector advising small and medium-sized businesses across a variety of sectors in the North West of England. However, he now works exclusively in the not-for-profit sector, where he supports a handful of sports and charities on a range of finance and governance issues. He has also consulted to the UK Government with advice regarding National Governing Bodies.

Based in the rugby league hotbed of Warrington, Mark is a avid enthusiast of most sports and has travelled all over the world to watch his beloved Manchester United.

As the global governing body for the sport of Rugby League, the role of International Rugby League (IRL) is to foster, develop, promulgate, promote, govern and administer the game of Rugby League throughout the world. The IRL is responsible for the official sanctioning of Tests Matches contested between Member Nations and the global rankings to which these contests contribute.
