Laura Adelman-Cannon

Laura Adelman-Cannon has an extensive background in education, with significant experience at the International School of Louisiana since 2006, currently serving as Interim Principal. Previously, Laura held roles as Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Consultant, as well as teaching English in Dakar, Senegal. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans, an MA in English from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a BA in Secondary Education/English from DePaul University. Laura's career also features experience as an Assistant Principal and Teacher at the New Orleans Charter Middle School, showcasing a strong commitment to curriculum development and academic leadership.
