Chris Akin

Head of School, Laude The Lady Elizabeth School at International Schools Partnership

Chris hails from Canada, although it has been some time since he lived there. As a true citizen of the world, Chris has led in schools in seven countries and on four continents, in a 25 year career in international education. Chris has taken on roles from Athletic Director to Head of School in diverse schools varying in size and curricular framework. Chris joined International Schools Partnership (ISP) in September 2018 to take on the role of Head of School at Laude The Lady Elizabeth, as the School opened it´s amazing new Secondary campus. He holds a M.Ed from The College of New Jersey in Educational Administration in addition to his B.Ed (Queen´s) and BPHE/BA (History) from Queen´s University in Canada. He is a frequent workshop presenter and visiting school accreditation leader. He has also led ground-breaking work as one of the committee chairs for the International Task Force on Child Protection.
