Jorge Valenzuela

Divisional CFO, LATAM at International Schools Partnership

Jorge grew up in Chile and moved to the USA with his family where he finished his schooling, university and graduate studies. After studying Economics and Political Science at U.C. Berkley he went on to study a Master’s in Public Policy at Columbia University and an MBA at the University of Chicago. He managed to combine study with sport and played football (soccer), running cross country and surfing.

Jorge is a returnee to the educational field. After graduate school he worked at The World Bank, in Washington D.C., in education projects throughout South America, aimed at improving the quality of primary and secondary education. He has published articles on cost effective investments in education and teacher remuneration. Before Joining International Schools Partnership (ISP) in January 2019 as Regional Finance Director in South America, Jorge worked in Finance Director positions, across the media industry. He has extensive experience in multi-currency operations, M&A, accounting, reporting, tax, business integration and development.
