Abhay Thakur

Abhay Thakur is an experienced marine engineer with a robust background in various engineering roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as 2nd Engineer at Mubarak Marine since February 2022 aboard the DSV DP II, Abhay also holds a position with Seaways International since April 2015, progressing from 3rd Engineer to Second Engineer. Abhay's experience includes a completed contract as 2nd Engineer at Milaha Ship Management from October 2020 to September 2021, and roles at POSH Offshore Services and POSH Offshore PTE LTD, focusing on DP II operations. Abhay began the maritime career as 2nd Engineer with DNS Marine Services in 2017. Education includes a Class-1 Marine Engineer degree obtained from South Tyneside in 2020.
