James Angelus

James Angelus serves as the President and Representative Director of the International Security Industry Council of Japan since June 2019. Additionally, since 2012, James has been a Senior Associate at The Kufan Group. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate role at Mathyos Energy Solutions from June 2017 to May 2019 and Chairman of Kanon International Inc. from February 2007 to September 2018, where focus was on infrastructure development in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia. James also held the position of Executive Director at G1 Energy Holdings Ltd. from November 2015 to April 2017, contributing to the establishment of the Northeast Asia Gas Hub. Prior to this, James was the President of USI Capital Corporation from September 1996 to June 2016, involved in international energy consulting. Educational background includes studies at The University of New Mexico and Appalachian State University.
