Diana Ordonez

Diana Ordonez is a prominent figure in the field of cytometry, currently serving as an SRL Emerging Leader from 2022 to 2025 at the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry. Diana has extensive experience in flow cytometry, having held the position of Head of the Flow Cytometry Core Facility and Scientific Officer at EMBL from February 2015 to February 2024. This role involved providing technical and scientific support for researchers, including experiment design and user training. Prior to this, Diana was a Postdoctoral Fellow at CIML, focusing on characterizing a novel mouse model of neutropenia, and completed a PhD in Sciences with a specialty in Immunology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Diana’s academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Our vision is to advance the impact of cytometry in meeting current and emerging challenges in the life, biomedical, and physical sciences. ISAC produces CYTO, the annual international congress of cell analysis technology and applications. CYTO 2019 will be held from June 22-29 in Vancouver, Canada.
