Colleen A. Smith

Colleen A. Smith is a seasoned leader in the performing arts sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for the International Society for the Performing Arts since January 2024 and as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre since May 2020. With previous roles including Executive Director of Gros Morne Summer Music and Theatre Calgary, Colleen has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, governance, and organizational development. Accolades include leading major arts institutions through significant transformations and successful projects, such as the Massey Hall Revitalization Project. Colleen's educational background includes an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an Impact Program for Arts Leaders certification from Stanford University.
