Shari Zola

Shari Zola has extensive experience in catastrophe management and risk accumulation, currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the International Society of Catastrophe Managers since April 2021. Previously, Shari held the position of President within the same organization. At Munich Re Specialty - North America, the role of Smart Mobility Operations Lead is currently held, with prior positions at Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. including Vice President, Deputy Head of Risk Accumulation and Vice President, Catastrophe Management. Shari began a career at American Re-Insurance Company, where various roles were undertaken from Director of Catastrophe Management to systems analyst positions. Shari holds a Master of Business Administration from Rider University and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Management Information Systems from the University at Albany. Educational background also includes attendance at Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn, NY.
