Michael Kruelle is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in museum and visitor services management. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at the International Spy Museum since March 2012, Michael successfully directed the operations transition and the design of a 140,000 square foot building, collaborating closely with architects and construction teams to meet aggressive deadlines while staying under budget. Previous roles include Director of Visitor Services at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, where management of a team of over 140 volunteers was key, and Manager of Visitor Services at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, overseeing a team of 25. Michael's career also features leadership positions at the National Building Museum and the Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Inc., demonstrating a strong background in program coordination and volunteer management. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Towson University.
