Wesley Hill has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Wesley currently works at the International Tax and Investment Center as a Lead Analyst and International Program Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing the Energy, Growth, and Security program. Prior to this, Wesley was a University Lecturer and Researcher at Tulane University, where they taught Geopolitics, International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Chinese Politics. Wesley also conducted research on Sino-African relations. Wesley has also worked as a Research Fellow at The National Bureau of Asian Research and as a Research Coordinator and Organizer at Paseo Verde Library. Wesley has experience in analyzing policy commitments, conducting outreach, and collaborating with community leaders. Additionally, Wesley has worked as a Congressional Staffer for Congresswoman Dina Titus, where they analyzed foreign policy commitments and produced policy briefs. Wesley also contributed to the development of campaign strategies as a Campaign Canvasser Organizer and directly engaged in campaigning activities as a Campaign Canvasser for the DCCC.
Wesley Hill has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Wesley pursued further education at Tulane University, where they completed a Master of Arts in Political Science from 2016 to 2018. Wesley Hill is currently in the process of completing their PhD in Political Science at Tulane University, with an expected completion date in 2021.
