Juan Castro

Juan Castro is a seasoned professional in the field of telecommunications, currently serving as a Senior Radiocommunication Engineer with the International Telecommunication Union since January 2002. Throughout this tenure, Juan has also held roles as a Project Engineer and an ICT consultant/Project Manager for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). Prior to this, Juan was the Jefe Servicio Operadores Cable for the Government of Spain from November 1996 to December 2001 and served as the Head of the Central Office for Broadcasting Technical Coordination at SETSI from March 1996 to October 1996. An alumnus of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Juan earned an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering between 1987 and 1994.
