Krister Ahlberg

Krister Ahlberg is an experienced professional in the field of telecommunications and international marketing, currently serving in the Giga Partnerships at the International Telecommunication Union since January 2019, focusing on connecting schools globally to the Internet. Ahlberg has also held senior positions as Head of Client Relations and Fundraising for ITU Digital World, and Head of Marketing for ITU publications, contributing significantly to major UN initiatives and industry publications. Previously, Ahlberg worked as an Advisor in International Marketing and Branding at the International Trade Centre, enhancing competitiveness for industries in developing countries. Early career experiences include roles as Sales and Marketing Manager at 7Signal Oy and Sales Manager at Management Events. Ahlberg holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Turku School of Economics.
