Lasisi Salami LAWAL is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and academia. Currently serving as Vice-Chair of the ITU-R Satellite Study Group 4, Lasisi also holds the position of Visiting Associate Professor at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and works as a Senior Research Fellow at the Federal University of Technology Minna. Previously, Lasisi held various leadership roles at Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited, including Acting General Manager of Technical Services and Assistant General Manager for Satellite Application and Development. Lasisi is currently pursuing two graduate degrees at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka: a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering.
