Miroslav Cosic started their work experience in 1997 as a Telecommunications Software Engineer at Nortel and worked there until 2000. Miroslav then joined BroadSoft, Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, they joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as a System Analyst and progressed to become the Head of the Data Processing Section for Terrestrial Publications and Registration from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a System Analyst/Radiocommunication Engineer for Terrestrial Applications Software at ITU. Since 2015, Miroslav has been working as the Head of Space Applications Software at ITU.
Miroslav Cosic has a diverse education history. Miroslav pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from the University of Sarajevo from 1990 to 1993, but did not complete the program. Miroslav later obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in the same field from Polytechnique Montréal from 1995 to 1997. Miroslav then pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Concordia University, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. In 2003, they briefly attended Concordia University again for a Graduate Certificate in e-Business, but did not complete the program. Lastly, from 2009 to 2017, Miroslav successfully completed a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from The Open University.
