Önder Cetinkaya

Önder Cetinkaya has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Önder began their career as a Project Coordinator at Petrol Ofisi in 2001. Önder then worked as an ICT Expert at the Information and Communication Technologies Authority of Turkey from 2003 to 2010, where they excelled in project formulation and design. In 2010, Önder joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as a Project Development Coordinator, contributing to the development of ITU projects worldwide. Önder later became the President of the ITU Staff Council in 2023, representing the interests and concerns of staff members and ensuring effective communication between management and employees. Önder's work at ITU focused on telecommunications development projects, particularly in emerging and less-developed countries. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and project management skills in various roles.

Önder Cetinkaya completed their education as follows:

- From 2000 to 2002, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University.

- From 1996 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from the same university.

- From 1989 to 1996, Önder attended TED Ankara Koleji for their secondary and high school education.

In addition, they also obtained certifications in various courses including "New Models of Business in Society" and "Psychological First Aid" from Coursera, "INTRODUCTION TO CHANGE MANAGEMENT" from United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), and "Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD PRO)" from APMG International.
