Seizo ONOE serves as the Director of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau since October 2022, previously holding the position of Director-elect. Prior to this role, Seizo ONOE was the Executive Vice President and Chief Standardization Strategy Officer at NTT from September 2021 to December 2022. Seizo ONOE's extensive experience at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. spans from June 2008 to December 2022, with roles including Fellow, Chief Technology Architect, and Chief Technology Officer. Additional notable positions include membership on the GSMA Board from August 2012 to June 2021, and involvement with NGMN e.V. until October 2020. Seizo ONOE's earlier career includes significant leadership roles at NTT and the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, with a foundational education in Engineering from Kyoto University.
