Tomas Lamanauskas currently serves as the Deputy Secretary-General at the International Telecommunication Union, where responsibilities include supporting the Secretary-General in enhancing digital connectivity and addressing climate challenges. Concurrently, Tomas holds roles as Co-Chair of the Interagency Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and as a member of the Operational Steering Committee for the United Nations Joint SDG Fund. Previous positions include Managing Partner at Envision Associates Ltd, Special Advisor roles at the International Telecommunication Union, and Group Director of Public Policy at VEON. Tomas has extensive experience in telecommunications regulation, having held leadership positions in various regulatory bodies, and possesses advanced degrees in Law, Telecommunications Regulation, Public Administration, and Leadership and Strategy from prestigious institutions.
