Alexis Haakensen is a Senior Advisor for Industry and Analysis at the International Trade Administration, where responsibilities include providing strategic advice on budget, operations, policy, and technology decisions, as well as managing industry and analysis priorities. With prior experience as an International Trade Specialist focused on aerospace finance, manufacturing, and trade, Alexis has expertise in navigating competitive challenges in the aviation sector. Additional roles include serving as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Commercial Service and as an intern at Carnegie Mellon University. Academically, Alexis earned a Master of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from American University, and completed Executive Education at Harvard Kennedy School.
