Marisel Trespalacios

Marisel Trespalacios is a seasoned professional in international trade, currently serving as a Senior International Trade Specialist at the International Trade Administration since March 2023. Previously, Marisel worked as the Director at the U.S. Commercial Service from August 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities included counseling American companies on export strategies and assessing firm export readiness. Marisel also held multiple positions at the International Trade Administration, starting as an International Investment Intern in 2014 and advancing to Senior International Trade Specialist by 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Coordinator at the Pan American Development Foundation from 2009 to 2013, focusing on programs that promote human rights and democracy in Latin America. Marisel holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from The George Washington University.
