Hady M. Khawand

Hady M. Khawand is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate law. Currently serving as a Member of various Committees at the International Trademark Association (INTA) since 2016 and as the Board Member & Secretary of AIPPI UAE Group from 2018 to 2024, Hady has played a significant role in non-profit initiatives. As a Partner at Saba IP, Hady managed UAE operations for 17 years, overseeing a range of IP services for top-tier clients. Additionally, Hady has contributed as a Board Member at Gulf Brand Protection Group and served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Murdoch University, teaching Contract Law. Previous roles include Group Head of Legal at GlobeMed Group and Attorney at Khawand Law Firm, with a legal foundation rooted in a BA in Law from the Lebanese University and an Executive MBA from the American University of Beirut. Hady is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management with a focus on intellectual property at the University of Antwerp.
