Carla Pagano is a gender equality expert with extensive experience in gender mainstreaming, human rights, and participatory audits across various organizations. Currently, Carla is involved in evaluating gender aspects within projects for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and leading a help-desk for gender mainstreaming in EU cooperation programs in Tunisia. Past roles include team leadership for gender support initiatives for the European Commission and the Tunisian Ministry of Women, as well as contributions to the International Labour Organization on gender audits. Carla has also worked on training programs focusing on violence and harassment in the workplace, developed gender mainstreaming toolkits, and provided technical assistance for gender policies in countries affected by crises. Educational credentials include ILO Participatory Gender Audit Facilitator Certification from ITCILO.
