Georges Bou-Botros is a seasoned procurement consultant and engineer with extensive experience in environmental management and engineering, including water, wastewater, solid and hazardous waste. Currently serving as a Procurement Consultant at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since June 2022, Georges also holds the position of General Manager at ACCES and works as a consultant trainer at ITCILO. Past roles include Procurement Officer and Contract Manager at UNDP and OMSAR, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with donor regulations and managing high-value contracts. With a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Georges has a strong foundation in civil, mechanical, and coastal engineering, demonstrated through key roles in project management and engineering design.
