Nicolás Torres Vieira

Nicolás Torres Vieira is an experienced professional with a robust background in labor law and human rights, currently serving as a Programme Officer at ITCILO since September 2022, focusing on International Labour Standards, Rights at Work, and Gender Equality. Previously, Nicolás held roles such as National Coordinator for Responsible Business Conduct at the International Labour Organization and Legal Officer at the Labor Office of Chile, where responsibilities included managing essential service qualifications during strikes and serving as an arbitration secretary in collective bargaining. Additional experience includes consultancy for the International Social Security Association and participation as a designated representative at the UN Human Rights Council with Human Rights Now.
