Venuste Kubwimana

Venuste Kubwimana is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in non-profit leadership and youth development. Currently serving as President of the International Transformation Foundation Inc. since August 2021, Venuste oversees initiatives focused on providing clean water access and educational opportunities in African communities. As Secretary General of the International Transformation Foundation since December 2009, Venuste has been instrumental in developing youth programs that promote leadership and entrepreneurship. Additionally, Venuste participated as an Oak Human Rights Fellow at Colby College, teaching a course on Human Rights with a focus on water access. Previous roles include serving as a Peace Agent with the World Peace Initiative Foundation and Executive Secretary for the International Youth Fellowship. Venuste holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Public Works from Ecole Technique Saint Kizito de Save in Rwanda.

International Transformation Foundation

International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is a youth-led, non-profit organization ITF’s projects focus on four key areas: Economic Empowerment; Water, Sanitation & Hygiene; Education Empowerment and Partnerships & Capacity Building. ITF establishes initiatives that connect youth with communities through social businesses making a positive impact on their communities and promote social inclusion and environmental sustainability. For example, ITF’s Join the Pipe project promotes clean drinking water and sustainability through reusable water bottles. ITF also offers the Jijenge Kijana Fund, which provides micro-credit and micro-saving training to help young people engage in productive and stable livelihoods.
