Bernard Griggs

Bernard Griggs, Jr. serves as the Project & Diversity Officer for the County of Bucks since July 2020. With extensive experience in labor relations, Bernard holds a position as a Journeyman/Member and Director of Organizing for the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #1 PA-DE since May 1994. Previously, Bernard was a Committee Member on the Temple University Executive Oversight Committee and served as Labor Chairman for the Philadelphia Area Powerhouse Labor/Management Committee from 2006 to 2020. Additional roles include Business Representative for the Philadelphia Building Trades Council and the Philadelphia Building & Construction Trades Council - AFL-CIO from February 2003 to July 2020, and Board Member positions with Montgomery County, PA, and the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. Educational qualifications include attendance at the National Labor College from 2000 to 2003 and completion of the Bricklayers And Allied Craftworkers Local #1 PA-DE Union Apprenticeship from 1994 to 1997. Bernard graduated from Abington Senior High School.
