Daniel Torres

Daniel Torres is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in managing engineering operations and optimizing product development. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at International Water-Guard Industries Inc. since November 2019, Torres leads the Engineering Department's daily activities, focusing on the entire product life cycle. As the former Sustaining Engineering Lead, Torres improved product reliability and addressed production issues. Additionally, Torres has been the President of Altfel Plastics (Mexico) since March 2017, overseeing a plastic recycling facility. A background in mechanical engineering includes roles as a Mechanical System Engineer and Mechanical EIT, where Torres provided innovative solutions and conducted inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards. Torres holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
