Prince Purohit

Prince Purohit is an experienced consultant specializing in water resource management, with a notable focus on the intersection of groundwater, energy, and agriculture. Currently serving as an Independent Consultant at the International Water Management Institute since April 2021, Prince is involved in a significant study exploring solarization strategies for groundwater management in Rajasthan. Additionally, Prince holds a position as STC with the World Bank Group, contributing to diagnostic studies on the groundwater-energy-agriculture nexus. Previous roles include consulting for Arpan Seva Sansthan and experience as a Community Mobilization Expert with Egis India Consulting Engineers, where technical support for Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) was provided. A Senior Research Officer at the Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Prince managed water security programs and utilized GIS for decision support.
