Senator Hayes - LSSBB has a long and varied work history. In 2005, they began working as a Telemarketing Representative for N.Y.S.P.B.A. In 2008, they became a Customer Service Representative for APAC Customer Service. In 2011, they moved to International Wire Group, Inc., where they served as a Superintendent. In 2021, they joined One-Pull Wire and Cable Solutions as a Production Team Lead. Finally, in 2022, they began working for International Wire as an Interim Plant Manager and Superintendent, and also became Chairman of the Camden NY Irish Parade.

Senator Hayes - LSSBB has obtained a number of certifications and degrees from the Six Sigma Global Institute. In 2018, they obtained a Forklift Trainer certification from the New York State Department of Labor. In 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute. In 2021, they obtained a Lean Practitioner Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute.
