Andrés Barón M. serves as the Deputy Program Director for the LAC Region at the International Youth Foundation since September 2020, focusing on empowering youth through program management. Previous roles include Public Sector and Government Affairs Manager at Cuso International, and International Cooperation and Public-Private Partnerships Officer at the Public Employment Service of Colombia. Additionally, Andrés held academic positions as a Lecturer and Researcher at La Salle University, contributing to courses on economic development and public policy. Notable consultancy work includes engagements with the Organization of American States and international NGOs supporting education and child rights. Andrés holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Human Rights Practice from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Science in Population and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
