Thierry Irambona

Thierry Irambona is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in child protection and education. Since June 2018, Thierry has served as an InterNations Ambassador, actively fostering community connections. In parallel, Thierry has held the role of Global Goodwill Ambassador at GGA since January 2018. Thierry's commitment to child welfare is evident through the ongoing involvement as Assistant of Child Protection and Child Protection Responsible at the International Rescue Committee since October 2014, focusing on the identification and support of vulnerable children in collaboration with UNHCR-Burundi. Prior experience includes teaching at the Tanzanian School Center and facilitating transversal skills workshops, alongside a strong educational background with degrees from the University of Burundi in social and rural economics.
