Yann Kwok

Yann Kwok serves as a Partner at Baymark Capital since April 2024 and is the Founder of Internet Direct, established in 1995. As a Strategy Consultant for the United Nations, Yann prepared strategic recommendations for the President of Madagascar, facilitating the privatization of Telecom Malagasy. In the role of Independent Regional Expert for the World Bank Group, Yann evaluated bids leading to six capacity development projects worth $3 million. Previous experience includes a Summer Associate position at Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gang L.L.C. in 2005, contributing to the Southern Cross fund, and participation in the MIT Tiger Team at EMC in 2004 to develop a market strategy for China’s low-end storage market. Additionally, as a Co-founder of Rogers Telecom/Terrasky from 1999 to 2003, Yann designed a broadband wireless network that significantly improved communication efficiency across subsidiaries. Yann holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a DVP from Stanford University, and dual commerce degrees from the University of Cape Town.
