Dennis Avorin

Dennis Avorin's work experience began in 2001 with the Swedish Armed Forces, where they participated in the Hemvärnet voluntary youth training program until 2005. From 2006 to 2009, Avorin worked as an HVAC technician at Strömstad V&S. In 2009, they were employed as a journalist at The Reporter Ethiopia for a brief period before becoming a news reporter at Stampen Media until 2012. Starting in 2013, Avorin worked as a country manager (junior diplomat) at the Government Offices of Sweden, Ministry for Foreign Affairs until 2013. From 2015 to 2016, they served as an operations officer at the Swedish Migration Agency. Avorin then took on the role of deputy editor at CountryProfiler Malta from 2016 to 2017. In 2016, they also worked as a guest lecturer at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna until 2018. From 2017 to 2019, Avorin worked as an acquisition marketing and public affairs consultant at Avorin Advisory Ltd. Currently, they are working at Internet Vikings, where they have held various roles including international account manager from 2019 to 2020, and key account manager since 2020.

Dennis Avorin completed their education in a variety of institutions and fields of study. Dennis began their educational journey at Östrabogymnasiet, where they received their High School Diploma in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician in 2006. Afterward, they furthered their studies at the University of Gothenburg from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in International Relations and Affairs. Seeking to expand their knowledge in the field, they pursued a Master's degree in Political Science at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, which they successfully completed from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, Dennis Avorin engaged in a Master Level Exchange Studies program focused on International Economics at Marmara University. Apart from their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Confluence Fundamentals and Jira Fundamentals from Internet Vikings in November 2022.
